Join Us for Convocation, Friday, September 10

The Convocation Service will be held on September 10, at 7:30 PM at Covenant Reformed Church in Sacramento.

Each year, City Seminary begins the academic year with a Convocation Service. The purpose of the service is for pastors from the local community to give a "charge" to the students and to the faculty, and for fellowship among members of the seminary community. The Board of Governors desires that local congregations will help hold the seminary accountable to her mission, and to the eternal standard of the Word of God as well as our shared, orthodox Christian faith.

  • Everyone is invited.
  • Refreshments and fellowship time will be provided afterwards.
  • Please note that all registered students are required to attend this service.

Speakers:

This year Rev. Bill Kellogg, pastor of Community Bible Church in Folsom will give the charge to the faculty; Rev. Rich Sherman of Sunrise Community in Fair Oaks will give the charge to the students.
