Golf Tournament at
The Ridge, Auburn, CA
"In
Auburn, in the heart of California's famous Gold Country, you'll find
The Ridge Golf Club and Events Center with a golf course designed by
the incomparable Robert Trent Jones Jr. In this rugged country once
traveled by miners who joined the Gold Rush, we offer golfers a
classic layout that is rich with challenges and just plain fun.
Hundreds
of stately blue oaks spread their ancient boughs over our fairways
giving them the look of a mature course. Yet this is a modern design
created by one of golfing's master architects. Our 18 holes ramble
across a stunning site, filled with knolls and hillsides, rock outcroppings, sparkling creeks and those beautiful trees.
The
LPGA liked our course so much that we were chosen to be the site for
the Longs Drugs Challenge, an event held here each fall. We know that
you're going to love The Ridge as well. Once you've played a round
here, you're going to want to return again and again."
The Ridge is
laid out on 170 acres. It is a public
course with no real estate development
that has the traditional East Coast
quality of many of the fairways
paralleling each other. Beautiful 100
year- old Blue Oak trees grace the golf
course and clubhouse giving the feel that
the course has been in place for numerous
years. This 18 hole championship course
stretches 6734 yards and is a par 71 with
5 tee boxes from which to choose.
