Strugnell Collection

Dr. John Strugnell, Professor Emeritus of Harvard Divinity School, headed the translation project for the Dead Sea Scrolls and his library is considered one of the finest in existence.

City Seminary acquired the majority of this collection, which includes a large number of volumes centered on the first century of Christianity; a significant emphasis on the Reformation period; and, numerous works on Greek and Hebrew language, including concordances, references and texts. Altogether, there are more than four thousand volumes and journals. For more information about the collection, please check under Resources.
