The Ridge is laid out on 170 acres. It is a public course with no real estate development that has the traditional East Coast quality of many of the fairways paralleling each other. Beautiful 100 year- old Blue Oak trees grace the golf course and clubhouse giving the feel that the course has been in place for numerous years. This 18 hole championship course stretches 6734 yards and is a par 71 with 5 tee boxes from which to choose.

Board member Tom Lagomarsino recently announced a new course (date to be announced) for the 2008 City Seminary Golf Tournament fundraiser.

"Our tournament raises funds for a very important purpose: money for scholarships. With our tournament growth over the last few years and a goal to be a premier Golf event in Northern California, we felt it time to kick things up a notch and choose a course second to none with facilities to match. We owe it to our sponsors, golfers and supporters. That is why we are please to announce that we have scheduled our 2008 tournament at The Ridge in Auburn. The date will be announced shortly. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., The Ridge is one of the finest golf courses and facilities in the Sacramento area. The banquet facilities give us much needed additional space, the food is excellent and, best of all, you can't beat the course. I and the golf committee are really looking forward to our tournament."

City Seminary is an inner-city based nonprofit organization serving the greater Sacramento area Churches. Our commitment to the community is that no qualified seminary student will be denied an education due to financial need.

The proceeds of the Golf Tournament will go to our "Mission to the City" Student Scholarship Fund. "Mission to the City" scholarships allow students who otherwise might be deprived of a seminary education the opportunity to fulfill their calling.
